Pakistan test skipper Misbah ul Haq received a lot of praise recently when he scored a brilliant hundred in debut test at the English soil a few weeks ago. The 42 year old player played his first ever test in England and scored a beautiful hundred that laid the basis of victory for Pakistan. Pakistan won the match and eventually in the end drew the series to get ranked number one test team in the world. The whole world is still admiring the great captaincy from the ageless captain Misbah ul Haq that took Pakistan test side to the number 1 position in just two years’ span despite all the odds. In test format Pakistan is blessed with players like Misbah ul Haq and Younis Khan however in ODIs the situation is disastrous.

The 1992 world champions currently rank 9^th in ICC ODI rankings and would surely play the qualifying round in the 2019 ODI world cup. Speaking of the record, it is held by the UAE player Khurram Khan who made a hundred at the age of 43 years and 162 days back in 2014.
