Cristiano Ronaldo is truly unstoppable. The Real Madrid striker appears to be determined to seize every single record while being in the White shirt. Last night against Sporting Gijon, the Portuguese star has played his match number 220 in League with Real Madrid, some historic numbers for a player who does not want to miss a single minute of the game. Cristiano Ronaldo’s record in La Liga is truly spectacular. The star striker joined Real Madrid in 2009 and in his first season, despite being stopped for more than two months through injury, got to play 29 games, 28 of them as a starter.

With the arrival of Jose Mourinho, it became almost impossible to watch a Real Madrid league alignment without the presence of Cristiano Ronaldo at the tip of the attack. He played 34 games in the 2010-2011, while in in the 2011-2012 season played 38 games -the Real Madrid was champion that term with 46 goals from the Portuguese. A season later he reached the 34 clashes, played two seasons ago only 30 games last year and lost only three games.

So far in the Spanish league Cristiano Ronaldo has scored 241 goals in 220 games for Real Madrid including 28 hat-tricks. The Portuguese is already the leading goal scorer for the club and it appears his form that will continue to score for a long time.
